Do I have to have a high school diploma or GED to enroll at MSC?
While we encourage you to complete your high school degree or get your GED, they are not required for you to enroll in most programs at MSC. Our Nursing program requires a high school diploma or GED.

Do you have night programs?
Welding and Cosmetology have evening hours Monday through Thursday.

Do I have to take a test to get in to MSC?
No! The only exception is Nursing, which requires you to take the Hesi-A2 exam. Otherwise, you are not required to take a test to enroll at MSC.

How old do I have to be to go to MSC?
With a few exceptions, anyone over the age of 16 can attend MSC.

Does MSC offer financial aid?
Yes! We offer federal financial aid (pell grants and loans), and scholarships.  Check out the Financial Aid Office page for more information.

How long does it take to get financial aid?
It takes at least two weeks to process your request for financial aid.

Do you have ESL classes?
No, but our sister school Rio Salado College offers both online and traditional ESL classes.

Can I get my GED at MSC?
We do not have a GED program, but we recommend the GED program at the Ann Ott Adult Learning Center located at 1801 S. 12th St. in Phoenix.  Contact Ann Ott at 602.340.0431.
