Our unique clock-hour system means your tuition is calculated by the number of hours you spend in class.  

MSC's programs are generally open entry / open exit, allowing students to start on any Thursday once funding is in place.  Exceptions to this are Nursing, Medical Assisting, and Cosmetology.

TUITION
Students pay a flat rate of $4.60 per clock hour. Nursing students pay $5.60 per clock hour.  Each certificate program listed online and in the catalog provides detailed information on the average time it takes to complete a program, the average tuition cost, and associated lab and book fees. Tuition rates and/or fees are subject to change without notice. Tuition increases are applicable to all current and incoming students and effective on the date of the rate change. Tuition and fees apply from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.

LAB & BOOK FEES
Lab fees reflect the school’s costs in providing necessary consumable training materials for students. Book fees reflect the cost of books at time of purchase and are subject to change without notice. Fees are listed with each certificate in this catalog.

REGISTRATION FEES
A non-refundable Registration Fee of $15 per term of attendance is collected from all Maricopa Skill Center students.

TRANSCRIPT FEES
There is a $5 fee for copies of student transcripts.

ADDITIONAL COSTS
Some programs require students to purchase clothing, special equipment, and/or take licensing/certification tests. Specific information is available from Admissions & Records.
