The Career Services Department is available for students and graduates to assist in the transition from student to employee.  The staff works with employers to gather industry specific information about their hiring needs, allowing for better alignment between training and employer expectation.  Career Services provides employment assistance to graduates and alumni, and a Job Readiness course for current students which covers topics such as résumé writing, interview skills, job readiness skills, and job-searching techniques.

The Career Services Department maintains job boards and employment resources, including computers that students can use to access job banks to aid in their job search.  The department also assists with intern/extern and apprenticeship opportunities when available.

Career Services provides a resource for area employers to post current job openings for the targeted employees they are seeking.  Employers from various industries throughout the Valley continually post their openings with Career Services.   Employers are also invited to come to campus to conduct on-site interviews for immediate hire.  Maricopa Skill Center also hosts job and career fairs for students and graduates.
