In the Welding program at Maricopa Skill Center, you will gain a well-rounded, basic welding foundation and be prepared for entry-level employment as a Welder.  Students have the opportunity to apply for the American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 certification test in Structural Plate or Pipe Welding.

ImageWelding students are required to wear safety equipment during training.  MSC provides each student with a weld-hd, leather cape sleeves and bib, gloves, and assorted hand tools.  The student is responsible to bring their own work shirts, jeans, prescription safety glasses, and leather work boots.
