JOB DESCRIPTION: Serves as a senior administrator; plans, organizes, administers and generally directs the areas of admissions and records; financial aid, business office, capital asset inventory control, campus budget development and administration and; participates in the development, administration and implementation of policies and rules to govern Skill Center operations. Work contacts include Governing Board members, administrators, instructors, staff, students, , business and industry, the public, vendors and outside governmental agencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Plans, manages and directs all business services including: budget development and management, contractual leases, and fiscal office function. Directs all phases of student admissions, registration, student records, transcripts, maintenance and updating of course rosters and reporting for graduation, veteran certification, and related areas. Develops, administers and implements internal policies and procedures in direct support of MCCD Governing Board policies and directives as they relate to Business and Student Services activates. Directs and implements MSC’s inventory control and capital asset management processes and procedures IAW MCCD directives and state and federal mandates. Directs, administers and monitors the activities of the Financial Aid Coordinator, Student Services Coordinator and Fiscal Office Coordinator by randomly spot-checking statistical data, information flow, and presentations given to clients and the general public. Directs the campus budget development process and works closely with the Executive Director on campus and district budget issues, make budget presentations as needed.
Facilitates hiring of new personnel by recruiting, interviewing, and recommending hireof new employees. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. An example of this would be college level coursework or degree in business administration or accounting and/or responsible experience in fiscal operations and automated accounting systems as well as experience with student services activities, preferably in an educational environment with l administrative experience. Master's degree preferred.

Accounting, budgeting principles and practices; budget administration; statistics, data collection methods; financial modeling and forecasting; computerized accounting;
Financial and strategic planning; policy analysis;
Budgeting and human resources system;
College registration and records maintenance procedures;
Computerized online registration systems;
Governmental and special funding guidelines and regulations applicable to college admissions and registration functions.

Coordinate activities with a variety of college staff and departments.
Position may require incumbent to work extended hours.
Valid Arizona Class D driver’s license.
