An extension of the Marketing & Public Relations Department, Recruitment & Outreach at Maricopa Skill Center serves to represent the school at community events and to act as hosts to campus visitors. Outreach activities include:
Presentations
We are happy to come to your site and provide information to your organization. We regularly make presentations to Social Service Agencies, DVR, Veteran Affairs, GED Classes (presentations around the greater Phoenix area), and Phoenix & Maricopa Workforce Connections.
Community Outreach
You can find us at many community gatherings such as Health Fairs, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce meetings/events, Service Agency Committees, and more. If you have a community event or gathering you would like to invite us to, please send an e-mail to mscinfo@gatewaycc.edu.
Career Fairs
MSC representatives also attend many career and college fairs including those hosted by Native American Tribes, Phoenix Indian Center, Goodwill, Valley Interfaith Agencies, St. Joseph’s (and other medical center facilities), Maricopa County Health Services, and more.
