A special note about the MSC Precision Machining Program
Starting January 3, 2011, all MSC Precision Machining courses will take place on the GateWay Community College Campus. Students will begin their enrollment and financial aid and take their Essential Skills Courses at the Maricopa Skill Center campus.

CNC MACHINIST

CNC Machinists work in teams to efficiently convert raw materials into durable goods by using computer controlled machines and various tools. As a CNC operator you will operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathes and mills, maintain CNC machines, read blueprints, and debug programs. CNC operators are hired by various industries in order to ensure company productivity and profitability. Graduates of this program are NIMS level I, and in Safety, CNC Mill, and CNC Lathe.
